Geographical Features
Adimali Grama Panchayat is one of the major grama panchayats in the Idukki district of Kerala. Situated in the lap of the Western Ghats, this region is known as the gateway to Idukki district. Adimali is also a major transportation hub to the hill stations in the central part of Kerala.

The terrain consists of a mix of hills and valleys.
The surrounding areas are spread with dense forests, agricultural lands, and water resources.
It is one of the biodiverse-rich regions of the Western Ghats.
Climate
A tropical hill climate is experienced here.
A relatively cool atmosphere prevails throughout the year.
The highest amount of rainfall is received during the Southwest Monsoon from June to September.
There are areas that receive an average annual rainfall of more than 2500 mm.
